Visit the stunning Marlborough Sounds region, indulge in beautiful wine and food. Walk the coastal track in one of New Zealand's prettiest National Parks; the Able Tasman
This trip has so much to offer. We travel up the beautiful Kaikoura Coast, watch baby seals frolic while their parents laze on the rocky shore. Visit a number of different wineries for very special tours and tastings and dine in some spectacularly good restaurants.
Try famous Marlborough Sounds green shelled mussel and other great NZ produce with a cooking class amid beautiful gardens and vineyards. One of the highlights is a fully guided walk of the Abel Tasman Coastal Track with it's white sand beaches and azure blue water. The walking grade is easy with a few steeper sections. Relax at the end of the busy week with a soak in the hot thermal pools of Hanmer Springs. This trip is a fantastic balance between being on the go and chilling out while enjoying fantastic food, great wine and warm New Zealand hospitality.

This is a trip packed with tantalising experiences for all the senses.
Starting from Christchurch we travel up the lovely Kaikoura coast famous for its whales and seals, watch the baby seals frolic in the fresh water stream before heading to the heart of the Marlborough wine region. Visit a beautiful boutique winery for a tour, tasting and cruise along the Marlborough sounds to visit a green shelled mussel farm, a product this area is famous for. Taste the freshly harvested mussels washed down with a delicious local wine.
Enjoy more great food and wine by joining in a cooking class to experience wonderful fresh New Zealand produce surrounded by beautiful gardens and vineyards.
The highlight of the trip is to walk the coastal track in the stunning Abel Tasman National Park and enjoy its scenery with beautiful beaches, lagoons and forests. Be spoilt with great meals, the comforts of the fantastic lodge accommodation in the park and our own private guide.
Finish off this wonderful week of adventure with night in lovely Nelson and a well earned soak in the thermal pools at Hanmer Springs before returning to Christchurch.
